Welcome to Stamp. This Privacy Policy explains how Stamp ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using Stamp, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

Stamp is a location-based experience at its core. To calculate the travel time of your hot air balloons, place your virtual mailbox on the map, and animate real-time delivery paths, we require access to your device's precise geolocation, both in the foreground and background.

Background location access is only active when the app has an active delivery in progress. We do not continuously track your location when the app is idle.

1.2 Camera and Photos

To send visual Stamps, we require access to your device's camera and photo library. We do not upload photos to our servers without your explicit action of sending a Stamp.

1.3 Contacts

To help you find and connect with friends on the map, we may request permission to sync your phone contacts. Contact data is used solely for friend discovery and is never sold or shared with third parties. Contact syncing is optional — you can use Stamp without granting this permission.

When using the anonymous Ghost Stamp feature, we collect the sender's approximate origin location to calculate the distance, estimate delivery time, and generate the Live Activity flight path animation. The recipient does not receive any identifying information about the sender. We retain the minimum data necessary to operate this feature and prevent abuse.

1.6 Usage and Diagnostic Data

We may collect anonymised usage data (e.g., feature interactions, crash reports) to improve the app's performance and stability. This data is not linked to your identity.
